There are definitely a large amount of decisions on the market in terms of laptop computers. Whether you want to buy one for gaming, private use, work or net browsing you actually have where to choose from. The difficulty is, many do not understand a way to choose the best laptop to buy for their needs and also, for some, price can be an issue.

So what do you do when you have a fairly limited budget but want to get the best laptop to buy that suits your needs? Here are three cheap computers with decent performance for their price range:

1. Acer Aspire One AOA150-1635

This 8.9 in. notebook comes with an Inter Atom processor at 1.6 GHz, a great looking display with vibrant and bright colors, 1 GB of RAM and a drive with enough storing space at 160 GB.

Another asset this computer has is battery sturdiness, with a 3 cell battery that may last up to 3 hours. For the cost of just $299.0, this notebook can be a good and cheap choice considering it’s completely light at only 2.4 pounds, it has a decent technical configuration, and also includes 3 USB ports, card reader and comes pre-installed with Windows XP Home Edition.

A down side of the Acer Aspire One can be the absence of CD/DVD drive and the fact that the screen is a bit too small and may take time getting comfortable with. Aside from that, it’s a good selection for net browsing, watching pictures, listening to music and even for work, depending on your needs.

2. ASUS Eee Computer 1000HE

It comes with an Atom processor at 1.6 GHz, one GB of RAM and 160 GB drive, the same as the Aspire One. It’s a little heavier at 3.2 pounds but it is comprehensible as this one has a 10 inch Screen, and talking about the screen, it looks great and also has an excellent viewing angle. This comes with high connectivity capabilities with Wi-Fi 802.11n, and a six cell battery pack that may last as long as nine hours of use, which is simply amazing. Also, a 10GB Eee Storage with easy accessibility anywhere online is included.

A few cons that I could find are the speakers which are a bit too low on volume and the maximum resolution of just 1024 x six hundred, but overall this is another good notebook in this price range, and it may be used for playing some games though not fairly new ones, internet browsing, managing work projects and good media capabilities. At only $389.0 it is a bargain.

3. Samsung NC10-14GB

This is my 3rd choice in this category and of course, there are some similarities between the 3 notebooks, and some differences. This one is a very speedy computer with an Intel Atom processor at 1.6 GHz, one GB of RAM DDR2 and 160 GB cupboard space. Heard that before right? It’s got a great looking design, with a 10.2 in. Screen with a beautiful display and incorporates a pre-installed Windows XP Home Edition with SP3. Good connectivity with 802.11 b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and again, a six cell battery that will last as long as eight hours. It boots very fast and it is pretty light at 2.8 pounds, even lighter than the Asus Eee. Again, the maximum resolution is just 1024×600 but it gets the job done.

One con that I could find is the fact that the touch pad is a little too small, so you may have to get used to it or use a regular mouse. This one costs $419.95 and is also a good choice in this price range.

These are all good choices for general use when choosing the best laptop to buy, and it comes down to you to pick the one that suits you best.
